Emmanuel Opakasi, the current Chief Executive Officer of Pioneer Assurance, brings a wealth of expertise and experience to his role. Prior to joining Pioneer Insurance in 2015, Opakasi worked for the Insurance Regulatory Authority and Alexander Forbes (now Zamara).
He began his career at Pioneer Assurance as an Actuarial Manager, and was later promoted to Chief Operating Officer and Chief Actuary. Opakasi is a highly skilled actuary with extensive knowledge in Life Insurance, General Insurance, Retirement Benefits, Risk Management, and Finance and Investments.
He holds a Master’s degree in Actuarial Management from Cass Business School (UK) and a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from JKUAT. With his impressive track record and dedication to the industry, Opakasi is committed to leading Pioneer Assurance to new heights.
