He has a mixture of the academia and business, with special focus in actuarial, life insurance and pension. He has contributed significantly to the development of the Kenyan insurance industry. His area of expertise includes change & strategic management, execution & leadership development. He holds Bachelor of Education (science) from Kenyatta University, Masters of Science (Statistics) from University of Nairobi, Postgraduate Diploma in Actuarial Science from University of Nairobi and Advanced Management program from Strathmore Business School/Lagos Business School/IESE Business School. He is a member of Insurance Institute of Kenya (IIK), a member of Institute of Directors Kenya (IoD), a member of Life Insurance Council of the Association of Kenya Insurers (AKI), Board Member of the Association of Kenya Insurers (AKI), Council member of Moi University and Board Member of Chepsir Boys High School.
